I trained as an anthropologist and have worked in international development across a wide range of projects, programmes and with many different partners in government and civil society. Nowadays I am chair of a human rights charity working with survivors of torture and trafficking. I live in Dorset and am active in Quakers and with a range of local causes, networks and movements where I see growing points and positive potential. I am a lifelong feminist and more recently have become convinced that a vegan/plant-based diet is essential to living peacefully with the planet.
Art, literature, philosophy and the search for wisdom.
