Whitley Bay Carnival brings artists together with community to show off their best in this vintage seaside town. A showcase for new creative work in development & one off collaborations alongside street theatre, live music, crafts & street food on the iconic Spanish City Plaza. The walking parade features beautifully crafted structures & extravagant costumes made with schools & groups. Drop in costume & street band sessions welcome all in May. Dress 'wild' for the Saturday night Carnival Ball.
