I'm a creative director and experienced business development executive.
After a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design at The University of the Arts in London, I started my career as a design and photography assistant at the seminal creative partnership Hipgnosis.
In the early 80′s I designed the world famous “Choose Life" range of slogan T-Shirts for Katharine Hamnett and co-authored the book ‘Album Cover Album Two’ with Roger Dean & Storm Thorgerson as well as contributing to the second Hipgnosis book ‘The Goodbye Look’.
In 1982 I founded Icon Communications, an international creative agency based in London & Los Angeles specialising in design and packaging for the music industry. I sold the business in 1989 to a UK PLC and re-branded the company as Sonicon now a division of AGI Media Europe. My creative work has been published on over 350M albums and singles for artists such as Pink Floyd, Genesis, Robert Plant, Sir Paul McCartney and DuranDuran.
In 1993 I left Sonicon and founded Eyetoeye as one of the worlds first new media agencies, advising a broad range of business on digital strategy, content creation, website development, branding and design. Eyetoeye designed and built some of the first websites in the UK. They also advised many start-ups in the Internet boom years, such as First Tuesday and MoneyWorld, (now part of Moneyextra) which sold for multiple millions before the dot com crash.
In 2009 I launched Like Minds, a global thought leadership platform, holding business focussed events across the world. The company now reaches over 1.5M people on social platforms during its events.
