We are all unique, unparalleled expressions of life having different experiences. This is something we can easily forget.  Let’s be curious. Let’s keep asking that important bridging question “What is it like to be you?”.

Building on our inspiring Sunday Campfire Convention open space about the power of the word in January 2021, this week, which also happens to be Mother's Day in the UK, we’ll be talking about the healing potential of transformational communication. This kind of communication finds the common elements and emotion in conflict and brings people together in mutuality. These conversations can be deeply healing.

A brief foray into mainstream media will highlight those differences and this can feel overwhelming. It is easy to disappear down the proverbial rabbit hole and allow ourselves to get exposed to polarity, divisiveness, lack of respect and disagreements. This is happening in unexpected places; where people we once resonated with and with whom we previously felt safe, now express levels of hostility, judgement and vitriol that feel like an assault to the nervous system. In these situations, we can find ourselves needing to reclaim our own balance. Transformational ways of expressing can restore trust and compassionately bridge what may seem to be two irreconcilable positions.

The key concepts are for us to explore how, with awareness, we can tap into our innate body intelligence, inner wisdom, guidance and intuition to help clarify and share our uniqueness, our feelings; bridging to find a common healing element in our conversations, reconnect with each other and the web of life, take responsibility and restore trust. Seeing things from new perspectives as well as evoking the rich learning and wisdom of the ancient ones, the ancestors and other beings can help us to reconnect. Clarifying our position, feelings and thoughts helps so much with healing communication since so many problems are a result of a misunderstanding.
