About this guild

“It really boils down to this: that all life is interrelated. We are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tired into a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one destiny, affects all indirectly.” Martin Luther King Jnr

Want more out of life?

I came home feeling lighter and more joyful about life than I’d realised was possible

Ten years ago I was getting on really badly with my Mum – and I kind of hated myself for it. We’d clash whenever we met and however much I persuaded myself I’d be nice to her when I saw her, I just wasn’t. I could list all the annoying things she would say and do but really I knew I was playing a part in our bad relationship – but I just didn’t seem to be able to change that. Around that time my sister took a self development course and came back raving about it. In just one weekend, she said she felt she’d moved on more than she had in seven years in therapy. I decided to give it a go.

It’s hard to describe exactly what happened during that intense weekend with 50 others participants and two incredible trainers, but I came home feeling lighter and more joyful about life than I’d hitherto realised was possible. My relationship with myself and with life was transformed and I’ve never looked back. Needless to say, my relationship with my Mum has gone from strength to strength as, in fact, have all my relationships - with friends, with intimate partners, with work.

The course I took was called the More to Life Weekend and there’s one coming up 7-9 July so if there’s something in your life that you’re stuck over - or even if you’re just curious, I can’t recommend this more. One of the things I love about More to Life is there’s no hard sell. It’s an educational charity and the people involved just want everybody to have the best life they possibly can. I’d be really happy to tell you more about it so do get in touch if you’re interested. You can join a free online introductory evening 7-9pm on Monday 12 June and/or Thursday 22 June when you can hear a bit more about the course and ask any questions you like. Let me know if you’d like to do this and I can tell you how to join the call.
