Morning session covering the joy of Fermented food.  Taking away the mysticism and demonstrating how easy it is to make, store and the various ways of serving these healthy   options.
 
Kilner jars can be purchased from Amazon. Glass is better than plastic.
 
Participants need to bring.
Large glass jars like for preserving
Wooden or plastic ladle
I litre bottle 
Plastic containers with lids for traveling
Cutting board
Good sharp knife
t-towel
 
Sauerkraut - Red or White Cabbage - Himalayan Salt- Fennel Seeds  (2ltr  clip top kilner jar)
 
Kvass- Raw Beetroot - Himalayan Salt
 
Kombucha - Green or Black tea bags - Granulated sugar (3 Litre clip top Kilner jar)
 
Sourdough Bread - Strong white flour - Starter - Salt - Spring water (Large stainless steel or glass bowl)
 
Kefir - Milk of choice - Kefir grains (400ml clip top kilner jar)
 
Korean Kimchi -  Napa cabbage, carrots, scallions, garlic, Korean Red Chilli Powder, Shrimp paste, himalayan salt, ginger,
 
Spring water is better than tap water. For this session bottled is more practical
 
This workshop needs committment and organisation, as some of the ingredients will need to be preordered and easily obtained through Amazon. Once I know who wants to attend I can provide links etc.
 
All of the above can be done in the time and finished off at home.
 
Recipes and instructions will typed out and handed out at the start of the morning.
