As part of the Campfire Mentorship Circle I am happy to announce that I will be offering a weekend course based around events - discuss ag all aspects of event management including financials, legislation, planning, delivery and promotion of events whether for 30 or 3000 participants. This informative and engaging course will provide much of the knowledge and essentials for putting on events, together with sharing my 30+ years experience within the events industry, including festivals and corporate events.
I have chosen a self catering location as the base for the course, providing a living insight into the planning and execution of a small learn shop event.
The shape of the weekend will include;
- Sessions on specific topics delivered by myself
- An interactive look at specific projects that participants have brought with them as working examples to develop and start to plan throughout the course,
- Q and A sessions about any areas not covered or aspects that participants wish to discuss and,
- Site visits of potential event locations, both indoors and outdoors,
- Further interactive, participative and experiential sessions that have purpose and meaning for all.
Come with an open mind, an idea for a project or event you wish to take on, indoor casual clothing, outdoor all weather clothing, sleeping bag and personal wash kit.
Expect this course to provide you with the basic knowledge and understanding of how to plan and organise a medium sized event, further support can be provided after the course.

Date : August weekend TBC
Timings : Arrive for 8pm Friday, course finishes for 5pm Sunday.
Price : £200 including food and accommodation for Friday and Saturday
