As we celebrate our first birthday and move into autumn, we thought we would try a more visual format for this newsletter with direct links to the articles and less words. 

First off, my book of the year, about how we can each make a difference...


Coming in October, Campfire's 24 hour gathering UNLOAD :: RESET (13th, 14th Oct, near Chichester) will consist of a welcome communal meal and fire around the healing stone, talks, thinkshops and other activities to be decided by you using our OpenSpace format that worked so well at Campout. Plus music and delicious food..tickets available now...

Last month's Campout experimented with the OpenSpace format and was generally viewed as an unqualified success. Hear the two Firecasts featuring members' interviews and also check out Eugenie Arrowsmith-Pepper's account of the weekend and where we can go from here...

In order to sustain our community we need as many as possible to sign up and be active. If you haven't yet become part of our Campfire circle, your contribution really will make a difference. It will also help us to keep on doing what we're doing, growing an alternative platform that is all about social change in its many different forms, developing its own editorial voice and empowering its members, whilst also building resources and putting on events (2019 in the planning, as we speak).
